My new idea of A/W GVG team
I was thinking about this alot with only warriors, but now with assassins, is even better. This built is more of a mana burn pressure.
Use any Lead atk follow by dual and so on. The only thing special about this built is that every assassins should use 'Fear Me', which cost 4aderline and is quick to get since your hitting with assassins. This move makes foe loses X amount of Mana depending on tatics. Havent tried this yet, but might work great.

Any of the tactics adrenal skills could work well for the Assassin, but Fear Me! clearly has great potential. If you want to go all out, I recommend Locusts Fury for Elite (more hits->more adrenaline->more Fear Me!) and of course Frenzy (more hits->more adrenaline->more.... hmmm, I sense a theme).

Wild Blow also owns so much face on Assassins.

Good concept, but a single Dom Mesmer sporting Surge, Burn and Sig of Weariness will knock off more Energy in five seconds than Fear Me! could in fifteen. Still, I can easily see Fear Me! becoming viable on A/W pointmen working with those Dommers (XP), since the Fear Me! E-damage is more consistant than a Dom spike. Something along the lines of :
1.) Dom spike.
2.) Death's Charge in.
3.) Heap abuse.
4.) "Fear Me!"
5.) Cycle 3 and 4 until target falls over.
In fact, that sort of thing could be pretty evil, since a properly Fearsome Assassin would keep the enemy pinned on Empty until he dies. Well, he would if the guy didn't have a proper focus swap available. Which would halfway shoot this idea in the foot. But still, the concept is workable. I think.
Wild Blow FTW!

On a normal warrior [who doesn't have double strike building adrenaline], using fear me in machinegun style and 8 tactics, he can remove 3e. every 4s. That's almost 3pips of e. degen. Or rather, 2.66 pips e. degen I think.
A sin with increased double striking should realistically be given MORE THAN double adrenaline intake. That means he, quite easily, can generate 6 [yesh, with Locusts fury] SIX PIPS OF E. DEGEN IN AN AREA using no energy due to Fear Me! being adrenal based. Fact that sin doesn't use adrenaline for anything else means this skill is VERY spammable... [For Great Justice anyone?, YUCK]
If you can show me a mesmer build that can generate even 4 pips of degen over an area using no energy for over 20s. I'll be impressed.
But no mesmer can compete with a Fear Me! build worth its salt...
[and yes, you'd need to stop any blocking/evading enchantments/stances to make it work as well as remove hexes/conditions... so ^_^]

Point being that the Fear Me! has to hit someone already at low Energy in order for the lockdown to work. Otherwise the target caster has plenty of time to use his rapidly dwindling Energy to either escape or fight back. But if the Fear Me! spam waited until an allied Mesmer had zoinked all of the target's spare Energy off, then that sort of constant, lower-level pressure would be deadly. Again, until your target used his -7e set to regen enough juice to switch to his +22e set and slap you around. But this is the danger with any E-denial plan, and this particular E-denial plan is more solid than most. I think.
